Woo hoo! Can you believe it's almost June? Here, all of the grands are now out of school and the long, sunny days have finally started. And for me, my thoughts turn to…what else?…
THE BEACH! And…I can start adding some
beachiness to my home because the same “after Memorial Day” rule that applies for white shoes also works for beach décor! ;-) So…I’m sharing my
top ten favorite ways to do just that!

Here’s my spin on everyone’s favorite…
summer Mason jar candles…perfect for those summer evenings outdoors!

Add a little summer to your pillows with my
summery burlap and canvas sailboat pillow…copied from a pretty postage stamp!

Or create your own fleet of fun sailboats with these
sheet music sailboats..so easy that even the kids can make them!

I really loved making these
DIY Japanese Fishing floats…so much fun! And they are the perfect addition to my summer dough bowl arrangement!

Beach decor can also have a vintage look…like these
vintage seashell prints! The free graphics are included…ready to be framed to add some summer to your walls!

Or add seashells to your front door or mantel with this
Pier 1 inspired seashell wreath…made for
waaay less than theirs!

Here’s a super-easy summery pillow…my
no-sew linen and burlap starfish pillow…created without sewing a single stitch!

Or here’s another way to display your summer treasures…my
Restoration Hardware inspired seashell and starfish stands..and mine were only
$1.00!

Or create
summery seaside lanterns by adding rope, seashells and starfish…another super-easy idea!

And finally, if you know me, you know I have to give it a little French twist, so I created this
Pottery Barn inspired Frenchy beach postcard pillow! It says summer and still has that French look that I love!

However, the staff says
forget the beach…too close to all that water! However, they do admit that they love summer because that means a pot of fresh catnip on the patio!
Remember to pin it!
See you next time! À la prochaine!
