…their branch coral on a pedestal…until I saw the price. It’s beautiful, and on sale right now…reduced from $149 to $119. Yikes! Sooo…you guessed it…I took up the copy-cat challenge!
My first challenge…find some wooden candlesticks...and I came up with these on my first stop at Goodwill at $2.00 for both of them! Woo hoo! They were perfect for me since I wanted something simpler and not quite as tall as theirs.
Next, I simply spray-painted them both black to match…easy peasy! I knew I didn’t have any coral, but I did manage to find a starfish and a nice scallop shell in my summer stash so I simply hot-glued them on and…
…taaa daaa! Here they are…my version for a total of $1.00 each since I only had to buy the candlesticks! Not bad…and waaay better than $149! Watch for them in my summer centerpieces!
Baby Kitty reminds me that this is not my first RH copy-cat. You may remember my vintage-look project…
…that turned some thrift store paperbacks into my Restoration Hardware inspired book bundle! You can get a better look at it and get all the details, including the graphics, by clicking here.
And I am also excited because Hometalk asked me to curate a board of even more Restoration Hardware inspired décor! You’ll find a nice variety of projects from fabulous furniture pieces to look-alike but oh-so-affordable lighting projects! Be sure to head over here to check it out!
