But then I found this…the star of my little Easter vignette…my bargain French bottle drying rack! I love it because it is only 18 inches tall…the perfect size to fit on my counter and under my cabinets! And the best part…it was only $15. Yep…you read that right…$15! So now I am sure you want to know my source…World Market! Isn't it fabulous? And they are not paying me to say that! You can get the details here.
I added a little nest to the top of the rack to hold some of my Potter Barn inspired Easter eggs. Can you see what they are spelling? It’s HAPPY. The eggs that spell EASTER are hanging on the rack itself.
You might remember the eggs from last year…inspired by some that I found at Pottery Barn. I have enjoyed them so much! You can find a complete tutorial, including the graphic to make the letters, by clicking here.
The eggs are being tended by the little natural fiber bunny that I found last year at Tuesday Morning. You might also recognize him because…
…he was the star of my Easter centerpiece! You can get a closer look on this post…My Rustic Box Dressed for Easter. And if you look closely, you will also see…
…these fun carrots from Pier 1 as well! I saw them there again this year and seriously debated about getting some more because they are so cute!
And there you have it…my bargain French bottle rack all dressed for Easter! I am going to have so much fun playing with my $15 investment! You will have to keep an eye out for it because I already have some more ideas! Now there is only one problem...
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed a little peek at my French bottle rack! Please visit these wonderful bloggers and their beautiful blogs to see what they are up to and to find a list of this week’s participants!

It looks wonderful, Debbie! Great idea to put the nest on top. I'm thinking that it will be fun to use as a "tree" at Christmas with little balls, candy canes, etc., hanging from it. It will be useful, as well as a "fantastique" Frenchie prop! L
ReplyDeleteI don't have room for a big drying rack either. It woorks good for Easter eggs. Better than a tree.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea!!! Love the rack and the eggs!
ReplyDeleteOooh, thanks for the tip about World Market! Your rack looks wonderful dressed for Easter!
ReplyDeleteI love enablers! I hopped right over to World Market and ordered a drying rack and got 15% off-WOOHOO! Your displays are always great....love the wooden box arrangement, too! Thanks for the link!

That is cute, Deb. Alas, I would be finding the eggs all over the house because of Miss Audrey. She's fine with china...not so good with dangly things. I love the rabbit. Deb
ReplyDeleteLoving it! I might "borrow" this idea for rack...if you don't mind! Blessings, Tammy

ReplyDeleteThis is such a great investment. I see much like your box that your tree can be used over and over and still look brand new each time. Just great.
ReplyDeleteHI Debbie! This is so darling! I love your bunny and the drying rack looks great all Eastered up! Now Baby Kitty is still a little darling.
ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Deb, I am loving your little drying rack. Your versatile little box once again looks perfection!! xo Kathysue
ReplyDeleteDebbie, the drying rack is a clever venue for your Easter vignette, and the ever changing box makes a perfect nesting spot. You are inspiring me to do something similar in one of my boxes. Just need to get up off this sofa and get busy. I'm enjoying a cozy fireside blogging chat. '-) ~ Sarah

I adore how you've paired it with the natural fiber bunny and carrots!!!
I'm with Baby Kitty on this weather...

but rain is predicted and it's cold and windy here on the Prairie!
Guess that Seasonal change will have to wait a while longer!!!

Whoo Hoo! Way to shop, Debbie! Love your new Easter egg "tree". So pretty and practical. Cute bunny, too, and I still love your rustic box centerpiece from last Easter. Have a great weekend.

I ordered the drying rack and am happy I did. Thanks for the info. Now It's on my counter while I plan what to do with it. I like you idea.
ReplyDeleteHow sweet! Perfect for Easter :) Greetings from Australia♥ ~Pernilla
ReplyDeleteHi Debbie, I am loving the little drying rack! I have a HUGE one from Wisteria, and it does take up space. We use it outdoors in the summer. Today it is snowing again so I'm not sure when it will come out next. Your carrots and baby kitty are reminding me of my kitty (who is now in kitty heaven), who used to chew on anything dangly or papery. Those carrots would be a temptation to him! Have a wonderful day. Your neighbor at Stonegable this week, Linda
ReplyDeleteLove your Easter Tree/Drying Rack! I just might have to hop on over to World Market and get one for myself! Love em! Your rabbit is darling and I love your yellow shabby box! Everything looks so festive!
ReplyDeleteDebbie, What a great deal on the cute bottle rack and your Easter decor is fabulous. Thank you for sharing this at the Open House party.
ReplyDeletexx,
