A Special Gift from Chip and Joanna's Magnolia Farms

I was super excited when my sweet friend and hairdresser Crystal told me she was heading to Texas to visit her brother…and also planning a trip to Waco! Now if you are a big fan of Fixer Upper on HGTV like I am, you know what that means! Yep…a chance to check out Chip and Joanna’s home town!

Chip and Joanna GainesYou’ve gotta love Chip and Joanna…so talented and so much fun to watch on their hit TV show as they take houses in serious need of renovation and turn them into beautiful homes for their clients! I love Joanna’s style! And just in case you have never seen their show, you can take a peek into the farmhouse they have renovated for themselves by clicking here.

CONFESSIONS OF A PLATE ADDICT A Special Gift from Chip and Joanna's Magnolia Farms So imagine how surprised and delighted I was when I went in for my next…ummm…little fixer upper for my hair and Crystal had this waiting for me! She had visited Joanna’s shop The Magnolia Market and brought me back a surprise! Honestly, just the bag alone would have made me happy…

Kitty …and Miss Kitty was digging the tissue paper in her favorite colors! Well, digging it in her own cat way…

CONFESSIONS OF A PLATE ADDICT A Special Gift from Chip and Joanna's Magnolia Farms …but I was so happy to find this inside…a beautiful mercury glass votive holder! Don’t you just love the shape…so unusual! It reminds me of a vintage French milk pail!

CONFESSIONS OF A PLATE ADDICT A Special Gift from Chip and Joanna's Magnolia FarmsAnd I couldn’t wait to cut a few of my yellow knock out roses and use it as a little vase…perfect!
I love having this little bit of Fixer Upper in my home and I am sure you will be seeing more of it in future vignettes! Thanks so much, Crystal, for thinking of me! It’s my new favorite treasure!

  6. I agree with Kathysue ~~ Chip is one of the reason I watch the show ~ he is just so funny.
I do love the show and Joanna is so good at what she does.
My sister introduced me to the show, and said if she was going to move she would make it Waco just so she could meet them.
I love you little votive Debbie ~ and what you said about the bag.
    Have a great day.

  7. How fun to have a little something from Magnolia Markets. It is so pretty!!! I am with Rose's sister. If given the opportunity to move, I told my hubby I would move to Waco or surrounding suburbs of Waco and have Chip and Jo reno our house. They can take the most dilapidated house and make it look amazing. I just started watching their show due to I don't have cable, but caught it on TV when I was out of town last month. LOVE it and them. He is a big kid. She is amazingly talented. While I am not as talented as she, they do remind me of my hubby and I. My hubby is very much like Chip. We are always joking around with each other.
