Fun and Easy Summer Projects

CONFESSIONS OF A PLATE ADDICT Fun and Easy Summer ProjectsCan you believe that it’s May already? Before you know it, Memorial Day will be here, marking the unofficial start of summer! Sooo…just in case you need a little head start, I thought I would share with you some of my favorite summery projects!

CONFESSIONS OF A PLATE ADDICT Frenchy Beach Postcard PillowIf you know me, you know that my favorites will include some pillows…and my Pottery Barn inspired frenchy postcard pillow is at the top of that list! It combines summer and frenchiness…perfect! The free graphics are included in the tutorial.

CONFESSIONS OF A PLATE ADDICT Burlap and Canvas Sailboat PillowMy summery burlap and canvas sailboat pillow is another favorite, using a pretty sailboat stamp as the graphic…included free for you with the instructions.

CONFESSIONS OF A PLATE ADDICT Sheet Music Sailboats And speaking of sailboats, I had so much fun making these sheet music sailboats! You will be seeing them again with my décor this summer!

CONFESSIONS OF A PLATE ADDICT Summer Mason Jar Candles Perfect for evenings on the deck or patio, my summer Mason jar candles are easy and inexpensive to make!

CONFESSIONS OF A PLATE ADDICT Vintage French Planter Box My easy vintage French planter box is made from a surprising item…an old Clementine box! The free graphic is included.

CONFESSIONS OF A PLATE ADDICT Shabby Picnic Basket Planter And another favorite is returning for a fourth summer on my patio…my shabby picnic basket planter! My begonias love it!

CONFESSIONS OF A PLATE ADDICT Flower Pot ManMy summer garden would not be the same without my little rustic flower pot man! And just for fun, I change his “hair” each year! This year, he is sporting golden creeping Jenny.

CONFESSIONS OF A PLATE ADDICT Flower Pot WreathAnd as soon as the little house finches finish nesting in the forsythia basket on the front door, my easy flower pot wreath will be going up in its place! I love it!

Catnip And a final note from the staff…be sure to include a summery pot of fresh catnip for the fur babies of the kitty persuasion in your life! Believe me, it will be greatly appreciated and enjoyed!
