First up…my no-sew basket liners…an easy way to help identify what’s inside and to add a little protective layer to your baskets!
I love using them for storing my ever-expanding collection of vintage silverplate flatware…and for serving them up at a buffet! You will find a detailed tutorial plus the free graphics here.
A super-easy and super-cheap way to add some style to your storage baskets is by adding big number plaques! My Pottery Barn inspired numbered baskets were so easy to make…and the source for the numbers may surprise you! Find out more here.
Another inexpensive way to add style is with my faux enamel French number plaques! They are easy and inexpensive to make, too! And, as usual, the free graphic is included with the tutorial here.
I also love my DIY grey willow French laundry basket…lots prettier than the plastic version that used to be in my closet!
It also had spent some time in my grandsons’ room with new wording on the chalkboard tag…jouets…French for toys! See how I turned an ordinary basket into faux willow topped off with a chalkboard tag here.
And finally...here are some storage ideas with French farmhouse style…from Walmart! Yes…I found these great galvanized goodies at Walmart! And…hold on to your hats if you have not seen this post before…nothing was over $13…including that $10 olive bucket! See how to find them here. (And as of last night…everything was in stock online!)
However, our co-host Baby Kitty seems to prefer the simplicity of a good, old-fashioned cardboard box! Must be a cat thing! Hmmm…thanks for the suggestion, big boy, but I think I’ll stick with my prettier options!
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed seeing my easy ideas for stylish storage! Please visit these wonderful bloggers and their beautiful blogs to see what they are up to and to find a list of this week’s participants!

Living in a small cottage, I like your ideas of stylish storage. But my cats also prefer cardboard boxes.
ReplyDeleteYou really need to put all of these decorating ideas in a book. It would save everyone from printing each of those lovelies out. Have a great year. Joyce
