1. Add seashells to your walls
Here's a fun way to give your home a summery look with my free VINTAGE SEASHELL PRINTS. Just print, frame and hang them and you are good to go!
2. Give your throw pillows a touch of the sea
This super-easy NO-SEW STARFISH PILLOW is a fun and inexpensive way to bring home the beach. Do starfish officially count as shells? Maybe not, but it works for me! ;-)
3. Add seashells to a wreath
My PIER 1 INSPIRED SEASHELL WREATH definitely says beach and didn't require an eight-hour drive to find all that you need. I actually purchased the shells at Hobby Lobby! Easy peasy!
4. Add them to a stand for a little statement art piece
My Restoration Hardware inspired SEASHELL AND STARFISH STANDS were waaay less expensive than theirs! Just paint a couple of thrift store candlesticks, add your shells and display!
5. Use shells to create a summery centerpiece
I added a group of pretty shells along with my DIY JAPANESE FISHING FLOATS to create a little bit of summer in my dough bowl.
6. Use shells as a vase filler
My SUMMER MASON JAR CANDLES are so fun and easy to create! I bring them out on my patio for a beachy feel...
...along with my SUMMERY SEASIDE LANTERNS. Just add shells as a filler, with or without candles, and pretend you can hear the waves! ;-)
And there you have it! I won't have my beach trip until fall when it's a little cooler and less crowded so these little touches of seashells will keep me in a summery mood until I get to have the real thing! I hope they will bring a little of the beach to you, too!
