Plate Addict's Fall Porch Tour

Fall is finally in the air here in Georgia…with cool mornings and warm, sunny days! And…fall has finally arrived on my porch, too! It is never quite complete to me until we have made the trip to our favorite pumpkin farm in the north Georgia mountains for their fabulous long-stemmed pumpkins!

And so now…here’s my porch…all decked out for fall! I don’t have a big porch so I have to make the most of a small space. Let me show you around!

CONFESSIONS OF A PLATE ADDICT Fall Wreath and GarlandI started with a garland of fall leaves around the door…

CONFESSIONS OF A PLATE ADDICT Indian Corn Swags…finished off with Indian corn swags tied with jute bows at each corner!

CONFESSIONS OF A PLATE ADDICT Fall Wreath On the door…my Pottery Barn inspired fall wreath! It was fun and easy to make and cost me absolutely nothing! You can see how I did it here!

CONFESSIONS OF A PLATE ADDICT Mum on Porch On one side of the door, all of my fall favorites…mums, pansies and pumpkins…

CONFESSIONS OF A PLATE ADDICT Fall Lanterns…plus lanterns filled with fall gourds! I have also added some faux fall leaves…can’t have fall without leaves and we don’t have any yet!

CONFESSIONS OF A PLATE ADDICT Pumpkins on Porch On the other side...more of the same fall favorites!

CONFESSIONS OF A PLATE ADDICT Mum on PorchI love mums…they just say fall to me…and they have to be yellow! I added some twine pumpkins as well…for lots of texture!

CONFESSIONS OF A PLATE ADDICT Pumpkins on Porch And…more small twine pumpkins, fall leaves and little hay bales!

CONFESSIONS OF A PLATE ADDICT Pansies on Porch Another favorite…these great little pumpkin planters...found at Lowe's several years ago...filled with pansies in purple, yellow and white!

CONFESSIONS OF A PLATE ADDICT Fall PorchAnd finally…the stars of my porch…well, in my mind, anyway…these great $10.00 olive buckets from Walmart on either side of my front door! Whaaaaat? Yes…you read that right! I wrapped them with more jute ribbon and popped in a boxwood! If you would like to have a peek at them and more of my inexpensive farmhouse finds, just click here.

And just in case you are wondering about the whereabouts of my staff, our handsome co-host Baby Kitty has been taking advantage of a sunny spot for a quick bath and has left me all alone to spiff up the porch! It's just as well. His idea for a fall porch involved lizards and small rodents!

Here’s a final look at my fall porch! I hope you enjoyed my little tour!

And...if you would like a little peek inside my home, just click here!  Thanks so much for dropping by!

  10. I always love your tours, Debbie. I walk away with so many great ideas to copycat.

Did you see the mum in the olive bucket on my front porch? Bought it from Walmart (plant included) after reading your post about finding French style at Wallyworld. Mine didn't carry all the goodies yours did, but I was happy to score the olive bucket.

  11. I miss having a great porch to decorate! My front door isn't covered at all so I've been hesitant to decorate. Maybe I need to find a mum at least! Your porch is gorgeous! I have a vine pumpkin and I want to jazz it up some, so I like the look of the raffia on it!

  29. Debbie, love your fall porch, especially the boxwood in the olive buckets.

I saw Cedar Hill Farmhouse's post about a new monthly How-To feature. She said request to be part of the Facebook The Scoop Group. I went to the FB page but cannot figure out how to make my request to be part of the How-to. Can you send me an email telling me what to do?
