I am sooo excited because today is the day that my friend Kathysue has decided to go public with her blog, Good Life of Design! If you have been around Blogland for any length of time or if, like me, you have been around since the days of Rate My Space and Micasa Style, you already know Kathysue. So I am very happy to be able to announce that she has decided to join us! You probably recognize her beautiful “Small but Spa-like” bathroom from the front page of RMS or from the guest designer’s blog on Micasa. If not, you are in for a treat!
Kathysue is a professional design consultant who has a style that is all her own with clean, classic lines and soothing colors. I was fortunate enough to get to meet her in person last year and I can tell you that she is the real deal! She is a very warm and genuine person with a great sense of humor and a creative mind that is constantly at work! I have learned so much from her about design and so can you! Just visit her new blog Good Life of Design and become a follower! And if you would like to visit her spaces on Rate My Space, click here. Then sit back and enjoy a visual treat and pick up some design tips from a wonderful lady!
I am snowed/iced in here in Georgia. It doesn’t take much for us...lol! Now don’t laugh at us too much, though, because we had a 29 car pile-up on the freeway this morning! Can you say solid sheet of ice?
So we are all staying inside where it’s warm and cozy! I hope you all are staying warm, too. Thanks so much for stopping by! See you next time! A la prochaine!
Oh Debbie, yip-skip, I am so excited that Kathysue has decided to go public with her blog. She is just the greatest friend and I always learn so much from her. I will also have to shout it from the roof tops. Love it. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteDeb, this is so generous of you, thankyou, thankyou. You have been such a help to me in this process and new journey in my life, you are a true and dear friend. This is exciting!!! hugs Kathysue

ReplyDeleteCongratulations to KathySue. :) I haven't been on RMS before...the whole idea kind of scares me. I guess I need to check it out. Her bath is AMAZING!!!
ReplyDeleteWe had a very quick blizzard this morning. Snowed several inches in a matter of an hour or so. I had a hard time getting to my dentist's appt. :)
Debbie, thanks for tipping off to KathySue's blog. You were very right, I really enjoyed my visit there and signed myself right up to be a follower. Stay warm over there, girl! It is freeze-your-fanny-right-off cold here and where you are, too.
ReplyDeleteSharon
I was over at Kathysue's and signed up to follow!
ReplyDeleteI heard about the 29 car pile up, in Atlanta! Those happen around here too where it snows quite a bit. Folks forget how to drive in it, from season to season!
Hi, Debbie.I am visiting my dad in Manchester, between Newnan and Columbus. It is about 25 degrees but no real problem with ice and no snow. Good luck to all of you experiencing much worse. Sorry to hear about the pile-up.
ReplyDeleteDebbie, I love cats but cannot afford one. I love seeing yours in photos! Cindy Clark
Oh Goodie another wonderful Blog. I will skip right over and take a look. Yep some snow in GA but the ice was nasty this morning so that 29 car pile up...I am going to post a few photos I took of my yard...of course I didn't get outside until noon, just too darn cold and I was snuggled up with my cat and blankie...oh you know the drill. Thanks again for sending me a new blog to visit!
ReplyDeleteBeen there done that Debbie...I do she would joing us and she did ha ha!! seen you in your cute little robe at Page's house...you are just to cute girl...but you need an old red robe ha ha!! Hope you have a great weekend...Hugs and smiles Gl♥ria
ReplyDeleteKathysue is lucky to have a friend like you!
ReplyDeleteLove how the kitty cats are all snuggled in.
- The Tablescaper
AWWWW Debbie, that picture of your cats is just precious! KS's new blog is great, and she said she had a lot of help from you, and here you are helping her again with an announcement. What a sweet friend you are. Georgia is like Ark - if we get snow, everything shuts down. It just doesn't pay for us to have that heavy equipment to clear and de-ice the roads when it only happens once a year (I hope!). People who have snow all of the time just can't understand why we don't go anywhere when it snows! Have a great weekend. laurie
ReplyDeleteGoodness if she's your friend, she must be special and she certainly is talented. I join your friends and followers in welcoming her to the world of Blog.
ReplyDeleteHappy Twirls
Hi, Debbie! I am going down my blog reader, and I saw over at Kat's about Kathy Sue. I went by to welcome her.
ReplyDeleteAnd honey, ice in the South is terrible! It can stay on the North Pole! I am getting ready to clean my pig sty of a house. Oh, the shame of it! LOL!
Love the babies all cuddled. Tell Baby Kitty I said, "Meowy New Year!"

Isn't this the best news! I'm so happy that she's taken the blog public. I can't wait to see all of Kathysue's great ideas! Wow, aren't we all having weird weather? This is the coldest I can remember in years. I think Baby Kitty and Isabella definitely have the right idea! Hugs, Kat

Debbie - I am sooo happy for kathysue, and so excited that she can finally share her beautiful talents with us and all of Blogland. Yayyyy! I just posted an "invite" in the neighborhood. Is it at all possible that we could see each other again in March?????? hint, hint, hint. :)
ReplyDeleteI am keeping my fingers and toes crossed. Luv u, Barb
I'm off to check out Miss Kathy Sue! But first, I want to ask if I can trade one fat lazy cat of mine for one of your "staff kitties?" They are so photogenic and always look so cute! You kitties have personality:) "Husband" says our kitty brings nothing to the table....hmmmmmmmmm. I wouldn't dare feature my precious Kitty Puff on my blog 'cuz people would think I have a bobcat living with me!
ReplyDeleteGood morning Debbie, I hear in the new here that in U.S and Europe there`s is the coldest and snowy winter ever. So good to hear you are warm and safe.
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, I´m warm, in fire really, , here is getting hot and hot everyday.
Muchos cariños,
Maria Cecilia
Snow and ice here too, but we expect it..
ReplyDeleteStay safe, Debbie!
Sorry about the ice..we are freezing here too! Miss Bloomers
ReplyDeleteDebbie, your photos of the staff are too cute! Makes me want to get a kitty of my own. It's cold here too, but no ice fortunately. Too of my close friends are in Atlanta this weekend for market. At least they are indoors all weekend. Stay warm and cozy in your beautiful home. Thanks for sharing the new about Kathysue. I've seen her photos before. Beautiful spaces!
ReplyDeleteI'm off to finish my Silver Sunday post. Hope you have one for us again this week. ~ Sarah
