It’s July and in Georgia that means two things…it’s hot and it’s time for peaches! A trip to my favorite produce stand in the north Georgia mountains with my BFF Nan netted me some wonderful Red Globe peaches so I thought I would share them with you. (Wish I really could…they’re yummy!) And while they last, I decided to make them the star of a simple summery farmhouse centerpiece! Got to keep them in easy reach, you know!

I started with one of my favorite farmhouse-style pitchers and filled it with peachy-pink faux hydrangeas. I love the chunky rustic lines!

The flowers are hiding the reason it’s a favorite so I will show you. The handle is a curious cat! Love it!

I pulled out my favorite grapey vintage silverplate forks…a gift from a sweet reader years ago…and added them to some napkins in cheerful summer colors.

Then I placed my peaches in this beautiful farmhouse wooden bowl. It really adds to the rustic feel of my centerpiece!

Here’s a little closer look so that you can see the grain of the wood…

…and the wonderful rustic details! Isn’t it gorgeous? It really has that vintage-y look of a piece that has aged with time and use.

And finally, here’s another look. The peaches won’t be here long! They are destined to be eaten over cereal along with some blueberries and to be made into a yummy peach cobbler for tonight's dessert.

And here’s a different farmhouse look from almost exactly one year ago…. my
VINTAGE FARMHOUSE CENTERPIECE. Summer seems to bring out the farmhouse style for me!
What about you? Do you keep some of your farm stand haul on your kitchen table, too?
Remember to pin it!
