My Whimsical Easter Mantel

Can you believe Easter is only a week away? The Easter Bunny got a little late start at my house, but the mantel is finally ready…and just in time! Since the grands and their mom are living at my house now, I wanted to make it extra-special this year. So what better theme is there than bunnies and eggs!



I started with some things from my Easter stash and had fun adding a few new things to them!

If the wreath looks familiar to you, it’s because I took my POTTERY BARN INSPIRED SPRING WREATH and reworked it a little to include more blue and pink eggs to match the rest of the mantel.

I gave my Barnstabe lanterns a cute, whimsical look by adding Easter paper sheds in pastels and topping them off with some sparkly eggs! Of course, I will not light the candles, but Easter bunnies don’t exactly call for candlelight anyway.

This cute natural fiber bunny and basket of eggs have actually starred in several of my past centerpieces…

…but I wanted him to have a friend, so I added another bunny that I found at Pier 1 and a cute bunch of burlap carrots!

I added the bunny garland that I shared with you earlier to finish off the mantel and continue the pastel theme.

And here’s a final look! The grands are really enjoying it and anticipating the Easter Bunny’s visit! I have to admit that I am looking forward to having that old rascal stop by my house, too! It’s been a while and I’m itching to hide some eggs and eat some chocolate! How about you?
