Woo hoo! It’s time for my favorite event at my favorite place…Christmas Open House at the Queen of Hearts Antiques and Interiors in Alpharetta, Georgia! I can always count on having lots of fun and finding some wonderful holiday inspiration…and this year was no exception! Add some Christmas music in the background…the first I had heard this year…and it was perfect!
It always surprises me when I look at the photos that I took because I see that I had several themes running through my brain without even realizing it. And this time, one of them was fabric Christmas trees! I loved these with the red print…so festive…
…and these with the same fabric in natural. And…I love those burlap trees with the script garland and the measuring tape/spool stand…unusual!
I have been eyeing a tree something like this grain sack version in the Pottery Barn catalog this year. But…$$$$ Yikes! Gotta love that patch!
If you know me, you know I’ve got to check out the Christmas pillows! I love this one…Merry Christmoose!
And I love the touch of ticking on these vintage-look deer pillows!
These colorful chicken pillows are not necessarily Christmas-y, but they are red and green! Works for me!
I love me some sheep but my HOA would frown on my having a flock…but no one could object to these little guys…
...or these pretty sheep napkins! Love them!
Hmmm…it seems that I am continuing my crush on vintage chick feeders…on my radar for a couple of years now. 
Here’s one all decorated for Christmas…
…and another one that already has touches of red built right in!
These are a nice size…not too long…and a great price! They are just saying “Decorate us for Christmas!”
And then a few things just caught my eye…not along a theme, but just Christmas-y and cute…like this garland of little lettered burlap sacks…
…and this jar full of colorful vintage Christmas bulbs! Just looking at them filled me with memories from my childhood!
I love this little painted snowman ornament with his scarf and funny nose! Is it painted cheesecloth?
And you know I love this tower of blue and white dinnerware turned petit four server!
There’s something wonderfully charming about this rustic and rusted Nativity!
What is it about little animals…especially mice…wearing clothes that gets me every time? lol
I spied a copy of a favorite book…The Cajun Night Before Christmas! I especially love the names of the gators pulling the skiff! You can hear it read with a Cajun accent HERE.
…as does beautiful toile...especially in blue and white!
I was surprised to see another quadruple silverplate master sugar spooner since they are hard to find. This one has a few parts missing, though. You may remember that I just brought one home a few weeks ago. You can see mine HERE.
And now…can you guess what came home with me?
Yep…at long last I found the perfect vintage chick feeder…not too long and not too expensive…just right! And stay tuned because I will be showing you how I decorated it for Christmas very soon!

ReplyDeleteI am sure that you can have them shipped, Diane. I know they have done that before on items that I have shown. Just refer them to my blog post. The dealer for the sheep is WHIP and I am not sure of the name that he goes by but I believe that the sheep napkins were in David's booth. He has mostly French imports. They will know. Their number is 678-297-7571. So glad that you liked them as much as I did! hugs...Debbie
