Pfaltzgraff Pistoulet Dinnerware Giveaway

CONFESSIONS OF A PLATE ADDICT The Secrets of Pistoulet TablescapeI am really excited because the wonderful people at Pfaltzgraff and Lifetime Brands are making it possible for me to offer you, my sweet readers, something that I love…a beautiful set of French country Pistoulet dinnerware!

CONFESSIONS OF A PLATE ADDICT The Secrets of Pistoulet TablescapeJust in case you are not familiar with Pistoulet, its design is based on the charming book The Secrets of Pistoulet by Jana Kolpen…the story of a magical farmhouse in the remote French countryside where lovingly prepared meals feed and heal the wounded soul.

CONFESSIONS OF A PLATE ADDICT The Secrets of Pistoulet TablescapeEach piece is decorated with the charming illustrations of Jana Kolpen and Mary Tiegreen…reflected in the colorful sunflowers, so typical of the South of France…

CONFESSIONS OF A PLATE ADDICT The Secrets of Pistoulet Tablescape …and in the free-flowing vines, fruits and vegetables that decorate the pieces. Pistoulet just says French Country!

Baby KittyAnd now…my co-host Baby Kitty asks you to join us in imagining our visit to Pistoulet

A Mas in ProvenceEveryone who passes through Pistoulet has a story which unfolds.
All who spend time there leave with their hearts and minds transformed.”
The Secrets of Pistoulet

CONFESSIONS OF A PLATE ADDICT The Secrets of Pistoulet TablescapeWe invite you to join us at the table while our hosts, Madame Claude and Monsieur André, are preparing a meal for us!

CONFESSIONS OF A PLATE ADDICT The Secrets of Pistoulet TablescapeMadame Claude has just returned from the farmer’s market in a near-by village and has heaped the bounty of fresh vegetables in the old wooden bowl in the center of the table.

CONFESSIONS OF A PLATE ADDICT The Secrets of Pistoulet TablescapeShe has carefully set a place for each of us, having anticipated our arrival. There is sweet butter from Normandie and a crusty baguette waiting for us on the rough-textured tablecloth, as is the custom in France.

CONFESSIONS OF A PLATE ADDICT The Secrets of Pistoulet Tablescape The soft watercolor wash on each piece of dinnerware reflects the warmth of Provence…

CONFESSIONS OF A PLATE ADDICT The Secrets of Pistoulet Tablescape …from the bright sunflowers on the generous soup bowls…

CONFESSIONS OF A PLATE ADDICT The Secrets of Pistoulet Tablescape …and the freely rendered vines on the salad plates…

CONFESSIONS OF A PLATE ADDICT The Secrets of Pistoulet Tablescape …to the stylized fleur-de-lis on the dinner plates...sweet reminders of sunny days in Provence.

CONFESSIONS OF A PLATE ADDICT The Secrets of Pistoulet Tablescape The palette of Provençal colors continues on the chunky rustic mug…

CONFESSIONS OF A PLATE ADDICT The Secrets of Pistoulet Tablescape …and the charming little dessert bowls…perfect for the ripe red cherries picked this morning by Monsieur André from Pistoulet’s own orchards!

CONFESSIONS OF A PLATE ADDICT The Secrets of Pistoulet Tablescape Madame Claude has anticipated that we will be weary from our travels and has taken out her special tea for one and honey pot…

CONFESSIONS OF A PLATE ADDICT The Secrets of Pistoulet Tablescape …and prepared a little goûter for us of a simple tartine…a thick slice of a baguette spread with sweet butter and drizzled with honey. She has thoughtfully brewed a little pot of our favorite English tea.

CONFESSIONS OF A PLATE ADDICT The Secrets of Pistoulet Tablescape As we hungrily devour our tasty treat, smells of tonight’s simple country supper drift in from the nearby kitchen…a promise of one of her wonderful potages! I can feel myself starting to relax already…falling under the magical spell of Pistoulet!

Pistoulet Giveaway The magical secrets of our French farmhouse do not have to end there…or exist only in our imaginations! Thanks to the generosity of the people at Pfaltzgraff and Lifetime Brands, you could have this set of Pistoulet dinnerware as your very own! It includes a twenty piece set of dinnerware with four each of the dinner plates, salad plates, soup bowls, dessert bowls and mugs. 128. This would make my anniversary on the 22nd of this month so smashing. We will celebrate our 46th year of life together, accumulating four children, four spouses of our children and seven beautiful grandchildren and one little angel watching over us from heaven. The past two years have been a struggle for our son and wife and us, too, but with faith and love and knowing he resides with Jesus, we have learned to live again. I do hope the winner is very appreciative of such a fine prize. The dishes are beautiful, along with the story. Blessings and thanks for the opportunity.

  142. thank you so much for your beautiful site. I know that I am probably to late to enter, just found your site today and have been busy pinning. I am totally and completly in love with Country French, as my maternal family years ago came over from Bretagne France. The Pistoulet is so charming and I also want to know where I can buy the Provence tablecloths, curtains placemats and etc. Thanks once again.

    1. You are so sweet, Joe Linda! Thanks! No, you are not too late! It ends at midnight tonight EST. Most of my linens actually came from Provence, but there are lots of sites that sell French linens. Hope that helps! Hugs...Debbie
