Tonight my staff and I are joining a special party at Funky Junk Interiors where Donna has asked us to feature our pets in our decorated homes…to do a special photo shoot starring our best decorating buddies so as to always have a record of them and the role they play in our lives. So I am pleased to join her this week as a tribute to her special little friend Beethoven.
However, in my case, a special photo shoot wasn’t necessary since my staff insists on participating weekly in my posts! So, I am sharing some of my favorite photos with you tonight! Sometimes they allow me to be a little artsy…
…and sometimes they seem to question my decorating choices…but I never have to coax them to join in. They insist on taking part…especially our co-host Baby Kitty! That big boy sees my camera come out…
…and he starts to pose! He’s a regular superstar!
However, no one has a prettier face than our little super model Isabella…
…who began her career as a mere kitten…setting up this photo herself…
…as well as this shot for Cats in Sinks…a website about cats…in sinks!
She has also contributed her own ideas about the decor…and how it should be used!
A little more serious and less eager to be photographed is our CEO Ozzie, who does allow the occasional photo…such as this one where she offers some lovely contrast!
However, she prefers to remain behind the scenes, keeping an..uhhhmmm…eye on all of my projects…such as my feeble attempt to create this stencil!
But all of us here at Plate Addict know that the absolute queen of posing as decor is our own Kitty, who will sit quietly for hours striking a pretty pose such as this one…
…or serving as an inspiration for color choice…
…and helping to create some of my best vintage-inspired designs such as this one…vignette avec chat! I have to admit that my blog would not even be possible without them! So tonight I dedicate this post to my staff...
...and wish to thank Donna for reminding us to cherish our little friends and the time we spend together. We are sending her some special furry hugs that only a cat can give!
Thanks so much for stopping by! Be sure to head on over to Donna's to meet more of the special little furbabies of Blogland! And if you would like to read more about my staff members and how they came to be on the Plate Addict staff, please check out the About My Staff tab under my header or click here. See you next time! A la prochaine!

Debbie, this is such a sweet post. I wish we had a pet to share. It's always fun to see what "the staff" is up to. They are truly special little fur balls.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend. ~ Sarah

Great pics Debbie! I always love to see the Staff get involved:@)
ReplyDeleteYour fur babies are such a wonderful part of you blog, Debbie! I have to smile at them & at your wit in captioning all their adorable photos. You had me laughing out loud, especially that 3rd shot!!! LOL
ReplyDeletePlease pat each one for me? We've had several over the years but no more due to son-in-law's allergies. :-(
Debbie, such cute pictures of the kitties. Rusty was always in the sink when he was growing up until we moved in this house and he couldn't seem to jump high enough here since the counters are higher in this house. I would pick him up and put him in the sink. He would let water run across him and he would just lick it off. If we turned it off he would paw the handle wanting it back on. Enjoy the weekend. Hot and dry.
ReplyDeleteyour staff is awesome and great models...
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, beautiful kitties, but I am partial to a calico...Isabella has the sweetest little face. I can't imagine life without my felines.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend, Debbie!
What a wonderful staff, you couldn't have asked for better! I love taking pics with my cat too, he's always curious as to what my projects are all about. Lisa ;-)

I do so love your 'staff' Debbie! Such sweet and endearing photos. A house isn't a home without a cat or four ;o) Give 'em all a fuss from me and Sid.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes, hope you have a lovely weekend.

Love the pics of your staff. They are wonderful accents in your beautiful home.
ReplyDeleteThey're all beautiful cats! Love the pictures of your sweet furbabies.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is Isabella playing with the ornaments on your chandelier at Christmas. I wish that I could have a cat because I love them but everyone is allergic to them at my house.
ReplyDeleteYour cats really do know how to post, Debbie. They are so adorable!..Christine
ReplyDeleteAn entire staff of movie stars...WOW! Thank your for sharing your precious little friends and for stopping by my post. Cherry Kay
ReplyDeleteAmazing shots and what cuties! I adore the one on the table batting at the chandy decorations. Hilarious!
ReplyDeleteDonna
Debbie,
ReplyDeleteOh, dear I adore this post featuring your staff!!! I must say I am most familiar with the antics of Baby Kitty! Isabella looks much like my Maurice's mother. I don't think I'd seen any of your Ozzie...beauty, she is indeed! Kitty is Queen! We call Maurice Princess. The two of them look enough alike to have been twins! Thank you for such a delightful post. I agree, Pets enrich our lives!
Fondly,
Pat
