Woo hoo! It’s snowing here in Georgia! And it’s looking like we may have around 4 inches here at the Plate Addicts…unbelievable! I opened the back door to take a few pictures and the staff went out one at a time to check it out. Needless to say, no one chose to stay out very long! lol
Here’s a peek at the view from my house! This might not look like much to you folks up North, but this is huge for us in the South!
Isn’t it beautiful? I love the way it collects on the tree branches! And it’s not through snowing yet! Only one problem…my grandson is due any day now! Yikes! Let’s hope he doesn’t decide to arrive tonight!
I also want to wish a Happy Valentines Day to each and every one of you! I hope you have plans for a nice dinner with a handsome fellow!
Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful weekend! See you next time! A la prochaine!
Hi, Debbie. I am here in Manchester in Meriwether County, south of Newnan. I am at my dad's and was going to return tomorrow, but now I may not. I have always hated snow and never had any desire even to see pictures of it, but yours are good. I bet your grandson enjoys it! Cindy Clark
ReplyDeleteIsn't it gorgeous! Enjoy it! Hope the little boy doesn't decide that this is the time for his big debut!
ReplyDeleteRobin
Deb, Hubby was asking me if I had heard from you to see if you had snow and I said I had not but now I know you were doing this wonderful post.It really looks so pretty, Kind of fun when you know it won't be around all winter but just a bit here and there, that way you can enjoy from your warm cozy house with the staff. Love Pierre the Cat, he is so romantic and seductive looking, You crack me up, Love you,Kathysue
ReplyDeleteWhen my youngest daughter was born, I was induced on a Friday evening. That night an ice storm hit and everything was covered in a layer of ice. Power lines were down and many nurses weren't able to make it in to work. We lived way out in the country. I'm glad I was induced, because I would hate to think what would have happened if I went into labor during the ice storm. I'll keep checking in to see when the big day arrives for your family.
ReplyDeleteThe snow looks SO pretty Debbie. If you weren't worried about the little grandbaby making his appearance any time soon, you could really enjoy it.
ReplyDeleteHappy Valentine's Day to you & yours and of course, the staff!
xoxo
Janie
Praying for that new grandson, and hope everything goes well. Stay warm curled up with those kitties. Sally
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your snow! Wish we had some of that out here in California! Hope all goes well and your grandson decides to stay warm and cozy...inside! :0)
ReplyDeleteDebbie, our snow is quite spectacular isn't it. I love to look at it. I am like you it is so pretty on each and every branch. I am surprised your staff went out in it. When my granddaughter was due two weeks ago in Nashville they had a snow storm with seven inches and we were really worried that she would go into labor. They kept praying for her to stay in a little longer and thank goodness she did. She came as soon as the streets were better.
ReplyDeleteDebbie,
ReplyDeleteYour pictures are beautiful! It just started snowing here on the coast and we have about an inch so far. I went outside to take pictures and could hear the sounds of the neighborhood kids playing in the snow. When you get a chance stop my blog-Kramer left a Valentine greeting for your kitties (and some other kitties too-he's such a cad:)!
Blessings,
Kim
Debbie,
ReplyDeleteWow, you got SNOW! Drive carefully and keep warm. Give the kitties a bowl of milk for me!
Cathy
YAHOO!! Your yard finaly looks like mine girl..and I don't blame the staff for not liking it they never seen that white stuff before...and Girl that Austin will hang in there until Tuesday for you...Hey its a future man and their always late ha ha!! Hope you have a GREAT Valentine day also Debbie...Hugs and smiles Gl♥ria
ReplyDeleteWe're getting it too, Debbie! Although, I'm not excited about it now because this is about our 4th storm this year. In fact, it hadn't all melted off our deck from a week ago. The kids won't even get a summer break, if this continues. We have a friend due any time too. I hope the baby can wait until the roads are clear. They got really bad quickly here tonight. I was really concerned I wouldn't get home. Be safe down there! We didn't have much warning with this one. They had thought it was going more coastal.
ReplyDeleteDebbie, Look at your staff checking out the snow. Don't you just wonder what they're thinking?
ReplyDeleteStay warm and be sure to let us know when that grandbaby arrives.
Debbie, the snow is so petty when it is fresh. I love the look of it. Your kitties look like they are trying to figure this weird stuff out. lol Your date for Valentine's is just way toooooo handsome. Have a super weekend. Love you. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteLove the snow scenes!

Hi Debbie, The snow is just beautiful! I was hoping for some but it went too far south. I still can't get over all the snow they got up north!I hope your grandson decided to hold off for a few days...lol. I'm sure everything will be fine. Your kittys are so cute! Sassy doesn't like the snow either, she goes under the hammock to do her business when it snows here.lol...Have a happy Valentine's Day! Kristen
ReplyDeleteHi Debbie! What beautiful snow you have! Love the staff tiptoeing out into it! Stay warm. Prayers for your little soon to be grandson and you!
ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,
Shelia ;)

Was your BABY KITTY making a snow angel? CHEERS! HAPPY VALENTINES DAY to YOU!!!!!! Michele
ReplyDeleteDon't you just love it? I was so excited when work let out at 4:00. I got out and took a stroll in the snow!!!!
ReplyDeleteWow Debbie, you did get alot of snow (ok, everyone up north quit laughing and go back to blogging) None here (yippee I hate the stuff) but North of us they got quite a bit - over a foot in some areas north of Dallas! That's crazy. Love the pictures of your staff, I'm sure they think the sky has fallen lol. And your photos of the snow are beautiful. I love the birdhouse one, and the macros are great. Stay warm and I'm sure Austin doesn't want to come out in this any more than the kitties do! Hugs, Kat
ReplyDeleteDebbie, it is beautiful...so are those kitties...bet they decided it was nicer in by the fire! Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteLOL, your cat art!
ReplyDeleteGlad all the Southern gals are enjoying the snow! I've had enough!
Happy ♥ Day, Deb!
Oh, Debbie, the pictures are just beautiful!!! You had much more snow than we did. I wish it would melt and be gone if we aren't going to have a really big snow. But of course - it only melted slightly and now the roads are icing over! Kittens are just precious in the snow. Enjoy and stay warm!
ReplyDeleteSharon
Look at your sweet kitties playing in the snow! :-)
ReplyDeleteI am laughing right now at your cats' pictures! I especially like the one of Isabella swatting at something in the snow. Such precious co-workers you have there
ReplyDeleteMany blessings,
Suzanne :)
Wow! I can't believe that's Atlanta!!! Neat!
ReplyDeleteAnd look at Baby Kitty... so handsome and debonair! He's the cutest! You all have a glass of champagne for us.
Sending the Plate Addict family warm hugs...

ReplyDeleteBonnie
Enjoy the snow with your staff Debbie and happy Valentine
ReplyDeleteHappy Valentines Day! Just loving your snow pictures!!
ReplyDeleteHi Debbie, we did get a lot of snow for Georgia! My 'helper' Charlie did not go out, he just looks out the window. Great photos, I hope the baby waits a few more days to be born!!
ReplyDeleteLove the snow - when falling and after it's fallen and left us with a quiet white world! We here in the Blue Ridge Mountains have had our third snow - or is it the fourth? Today the sunshine is causing it all to sparkle.
ReplyDeleteThrilled to see your snowy images.
Thanx for coming over and linking up Debbie! The kitties are too cute!
ReplyDeleteLe jour de la pointe des pieds d'amour, chuchotant doucement rêves et les espoirs partagent tous les amoureux. Et Cupidon, plus confiants, prépare son arc ... êtes-vous prêt pour le jour où mon ami?
ReplyDeleteThe snow pictures are beautiful, but I have to admit hat the kitty photos are my favorite!! I'll be hoping for a safe arrival of your grandbaby! There is just nothg like them!! (ssshhhh... don't tell anyone... I share your addiction and admire several of your plates on your sidebar!)
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful snow pictures. Can you believe all of us Southerners are covered in white? I like your blog. I just started following. I bet that you are excited about your new grandson coming. I just got a new one in November. Gabriel Zane. He has my heart!
ReplyDeleteIt must be fun to see snow when you aren't used to it. Now here...not so much fun:)
ReplyDeleteSue
Something about these snow pictures that I love...perhaps living in the South for so long and not seeing it! I am on original Buffalo girl, now a transplant in SC...we had some beautiful snow too!!~
ReplyDeleteHi Debbie,
ReplyDeleteTrès jolies photos du jardin!est-ce que le staff a prévu d' aller skier?lol!
Here we have regularly snow since December, and we will be glad when it stops...it paralyses roads and trains(can you believe that my town didn't have enough salt to let the buses work?!).
Cependant la neige rend la St Valentin encore plus romantique.
Have a great Valentine's Day!
I can't believe it snowed here in Georgia either! Happy V day :)
ReplyDeleteThanks soooo much for the tour of some Georgia SNOW...I had a blast looking! I'm lovin' your blog...soooo...guess what? You have a new friend:)
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Linda
Debbie, what a winter wonderland. It all looks so pretty, but the reality is often not so pretty. Glad you don't have to get out in this. Hope it's better by now! Tomorrow is the big day, right?
ReplyDeleteSurreal experience. As I look at your pictures of beautiful snow, I am sitting outside in shorts & a t-shirt, feeling the breeze off of the ocean. Wanna trade?
