I don't know about you, but I need a little virtual vacation! Sooo...today I am taking you to Provence...to be more exact, to the Lubéron...Peter Mayle country! I am revisiting the mas or farmhouse in Provence where I spent a week during my retirement trip to France. And since it's Monday, I'm doing it in the form of two mosaics and joining the crowd at Mary's Little Red House! Could it be any more perfect? I love the faded blue shutters, the oh so frenchy fountain in the courtyard, and the winding stairs by the twisted old fig tree! Now, all I need is...
...cats! lol Ahhhh! One of these days I'm going back...not soon enough! Sigh!!
I hope you enjoyed my little mini vacation. Please be sure to visit Mary's beautiful blog to see some more wonderful examples of mosaics. Thanks so much for coming to Provence with me! Now if you'll excuse me, I'm just going to sit here in the courtyard with my glass of wine... Would you like to join me?
Cuckoo, Debbie! Je suis la première! Que j'adore tes photos! Je voudrais quelques copies pour les encadrer - je suis sérieuse! Elles sont magnifiques! à la prochaine..Linda
ReplyDeleteDebbie, that place is just gorgeous. I love the relaxing look of it and it's so pretty. The fountain is gorgeous and the blue shutters are so beautiful. The winding staircase around the tree is so unique and just makes you have to climb them. The kitty is absolutely precious. I am really jealous that he gets to live there. Loved the vacation, but I really would like to stay a while longer. Hugs, Marty

She visits there and just returned from a visit to England. I think you might like her beautiful blog. Across the pond is listed on my sidebar.
