    PS regarding the kitty in my post picture--I found her last Summer nearly dead from starvation. I took her to our vets--they determined she was disease free and declawed and severely malnurished and dehydrated--and with a couple of shots and three trips for IVs and lots of tender care here, she rallied and has become the best little pet.

  13. My BFF called her Grandmother "granny" To me it always have a funny ring to it. Being French it was Grandmere. Funny how children pick the name they like and stick with it.

  15. Debbie I love this! So sweet, our Mari wrote us a wonderful Christmas card. She was only three at the time but she really did good. I still have it out. It might take special grandma powers to read it but it is priceless. Wonderful post. Love, Cindy

My aunt just recently gave me some things that I had created for my Grandmother years and years ago. I had no idea she had saved them. What great keepsakes I now have from my own childhood.
