…with my pink transferware, accents of white ironstone and creamware and pops of greenery.
Our co-host Miss Kitty looks a little confused since this is the first time I have ever used my pink transferware on the hutch! Can you believe it? I don’t know why I have waited so long…
…because it looks so very Christmas-y! I added a simple boxwood wreath…a steal from the Ballard Designs Outlet…to one of my Wedgwood plates and some frosty fruit to my Wedgwood Queens Shape cups…love the result!
I popped a festive little tree into one of my vintage Wedgwood Patrician cups…all Goodwill finds from several years ago.
A few little topiaries and an assortment of pink transferware star on the top shelf…
…along with frosty fruit tucked inside a stack of cups.
On the middle shelf, a pinecone is nestled in my Wedgwood creamer with more pink transferware from the Spode Archive Collection.
And finally….always one of my favorites…my mom’s vintage Red Cliff ironstone tureen is dressed up for Christmas with more greenery, pinecones and berries. And...I will be showing you the rest of my dining room soon, so be sure to come back because…

Debbie, I love your hutch and have several of the same dishes in mine! I guess great minds think alike, lol. The kitty is mighty cute, too. Thanks for sharing the beautiful pictures! ~ Angie
ReplyDeleteBEAUTIFUL Debbie!!
ReplyDeleteDebbie, your hutch and mantel are both so beautiful I love all the little wreaths. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteIt all looks beautiful, Debbie! I love red and white transferware in general, but I think it really stands out at this time of year.
ReplyDeleteYour transferware, Ironstone and greenery make perfect Christmas companions. Don't worry, Ms. Kitty will get used to it ;)
ReplyDeleteI love your pink transfer ware dishes - they are beautiful and the hutch looks so festive. Your home is lovely and looking forward to seeing the rest of your decorations.

That looks fantastic. I have several of those same patterns. I don't have a hutch though to display them. :( I like your Pink Blue Willow. I don't have it in pink, but I have an entire set (Churchill) that I inherited from my great aunt.
ReplyDeleteYou always do such lovely stuff. You make me want to get busy and do things like this too, and then I remember I have a toddler. I finally broke him of the habit of taking the bulbs off the tree and exclaiming "I got Christmas!" as he ran upstairs with them. Now he takes them out of the dough bowl on my table. I'll break him of that too. Eventually. :)
The hutch look so pretty! I love the transferware. I have a set of Christmas transferware and I'm using it for everyday this year. Just keeps me in a Christmas mood! hugs, Linda
ReplyDeleteYour hutch is beautiful and just perfect for the holidays! The lanterns look so pretty on your mantel. Enjoy the season and Merry Christmas!
