Well...let me bring it in and put it on the table. Maybe I can at least make a big production out of opening it. Isabella...! I'm trying to take a picture!
Oh... Baby Kitty! You're in my shot again! This was supposed to be my fabulous package-opening post! Oh, dear! This is turning out to be a disaster!
Here's a close-up of the coffee discs..see...all kinds. Hmmm...I don't know what Nabob is. It says it's from Canada. Maybe our Canadian friends can tell us about it. Oh...Isabella...your tail is in the picture!
Ahhhhhh! At last! A cat-free picture! These are the discs for making cappuccino. It takes two discs for that. I don't know about you, but I need one right now. Can I make you a cappuccino? Please say yes, or the rest of my post can't happen....yes?....OK, then.
Now you can see that I got an assortment of discs of coffee. Ozzie...what are you doing?? You never come around when I have the camera out! Of all days... This is my tortoiseshell with "tortietude." She despises the paparazzi.

The disc on the right is the espresso and the disc on the left is the foaming milk creamer. They have...what?...it's written on the disc?...oh pooh! This post is going nowhere fast! Ahhheemmm... Now I guess I just peel off the foil.....what?....you leave it on? Ohhhhh! I see! The bar code! You need the bar code!
Ok...maybe I'd better read the directions. " Open the brewing unit..." Hmmmm... OK ... Now, let's continue. You pop the little disc in upside down and there is a bar code reader inside the machine! Isn't that cool? That's what tells the machine how much water...oh...water....
Oh...I see... this is where the water goes. Hmmmm...I guess it keeps a little supply in there so you don't have to fill it each time. Now I understand.
What fun! Looks like Christmas at our house over the years...the cats were always getting in the boxes and crawling under the wrappings! :-) Congrats on your new yummy coffee to go with the Tassimo! :-)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE IT! HOW SWEET AND THOUGHTFUL OF THEM. THE KITTIES ARE TOO CUTE! MY ALL TIME FAVORITE IS FRENCH VANILLA BISCOTTI COFFEE BY FOLGERS. IT'S MY MUST HAVE EVERY MORNING. YOU ARE MAKING ME WANT A TASSIMO MACHINE. I HAVE LOOKED AT THEM BEFORE...HMMM. :)
ReplyDeleteI love your helper! I miss my kitties...Not a coffee drinker...but I do love a good opening of the box post! I will drink (a dr pepper) to that!
ReplyDeleteHi Debbie! Oh, what nice children you have! Now, I don't drink coffee, but it sure smelled good. I'll just go and sit down and play with the kitties. They're adorable!!

ReplyDeleteHugs,
Carol
What fun! The cappucino looks delicious, but I think your kitties are the stars here. Christmas boxes are so much more fun when you have cats around don't you think? Sax spent last night in the tree bag (don't worry its canvas, not plastic) And I just love Ozzie, only a tortie owner or someone who works with kitties can fully understand the term "tortietude", I assure everyone it exists! Loved your post, thanks for the big smile first thing in the morning. Kathy
ReplyDeleteHi Debbie...haha, you know how to tell a really good pictorial story...the kitties were an added bonus! ;-) Bo
ReplyDeleteThis was great. I never had so much fun opening a box. Now I wish I had one of the coffees, any one will do. Great job. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteOh that Cappuccino looks sooo yummy;) French
ReplyDeleteHi Debbie! You know I saved your first blog in my Favorites and everytime I pulled it out, it always shows your first post. I never thought you have ever posted again. I decided to click your blog from someone else's blog and to my surprise, you do have other entries....LOL! Isn't it wonderful to use individual coffee discs? I use Melitta but I also have senseo for capuccino since Melitta do not have them. Your kitties are so cute and funny!....Christine
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for stopping by, Christine! I wish I had a Senso too, because they have that wonderful Dewey Egbert coffee! Have a great evening!...Debbie
ReplyDeleteDebbie, What great kids you have. I would love to have a coffee maker like that. Wouldn't it be nice to sit down together and enjoy a cup. Your kitties are adorable. My hubby would love to have a cat again someday. Have a wonderful weekend!!! Hugs, Terrie
ReplyDeleteEvening, Sweetness! Oh, I'm just googoo over those pelicans! We have lots of brown ones and I love those too, but the white ones are so beautiful. Cute little saying from you Dad!
ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,
Shelia :)
LOL LOL Far from a disaster, I'd say...I think it was a great post! What a nice gift!
ReplyDeleteOooooh I want one of these!! One of the things I like BEST is that you don't have to add the water each time! This is my first visit to your blog...and I have THOROUGHLY enjoyed myself and "VILL BE BAAAAACK" as Arnie says! :-))
ReplyDeleteLaura
Debbie, I've wondered about these instant machines, your cup of coffee looked yummy! Suzie
ReplyDeleteHi Debbie! Wasn't the tour of homes today? How was it? Thanks for coming to Laurie's blog and leaving a sweet comment about my dining room. Those kind words are always appreciated!...Christine
ReplyDeleteLove the cats in the box. They may be more excited than you about the box.
ReplyDeleteGM Debbie...thanks for coming by my PINK Saturday...hope you have a great day dear friend...hugs and smiles Gloria
ReplyDeleteHi Debbie, I hate to admit but this morning, I am not doing anything that I am supposed to be doing. I am a bit of an anglophile but as I get older I am tending to lean a bit more to things French. I was reading your profile and I wanted to say that I also love A Year in Provence. I love all of Peter Mayle's books! I also love Francis Mays. I am an armchair traveler. Also, you are the first person I have met online who loves zydeco!!! None of my friends has ever even heard of it. A great cd from an old movie is The Big Easy. It is a great compilation from a variety of artist. I took three years of French in college and sadly I have lost it all :( Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteHow funny is that!! laffs..............!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteYou are so lucky that your wonderful kitties,Isabella and Baby Kitty, are such good little helpers, imagine if you has to open that by yourself ;)
I my house the Kitties are clearly in charge, I am just the staff, thus my nickname "Staffie"
*chuckles*
Now pour yourself a fancy coffee and enjoy.
Cheers
Cute post! I laughed all teh way through it!
ReplyDeleteI loved your post & chuckled through the whole thing! Hug your kitties for me! ☺ Diane
ReplyDeleteMy first time in your blog - saw your link in another blog. I just LOL at your kitties in all the "receiving your package" pictures. Now that is reality..
ReplyDeleteTeacup Lady (Sandy)
I loved coming along on your package-opening adventure! I tried several times to see what was in the package over the weekend from my daughter's house - the computer stalled just before I could see each time. Now I'm home and I see! Love your kitties - we have two - Miss Callie and Olivia. Olivia is pawing at my arm just now as I'm commenting - she wants my attention! Better go for now.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Deborah
