Winter is definitely here and it's time for my favorites...sweaters, hot chocolate and snow days! And... it's time to add that warm and cozy feeling to my décor as well! The easiest and least expensive way to do that? Gather up your favorite old sweaters or hit the thrift store and you have almost all that you need! Here are my favorite ways to upcycle sweaters!

Want a fun and different way to welcome your guests? You don't have to sew a stitch to create my
NO-SEW SWEATER WREATH. It's super easy and inexpensive, too! And check out the flowers...

...also made from sweaters! You will find the directions for these felted wool flowers
HERE. Be sure to check out the tutorial for the
BURLAP FLOWERS as well.

Want to add a warm glow to your home? Try my
MASON JAR SWEATER CANDLES...sure to warm up your winter nights!
Of course, you will want to include a
SWEATER PILLOW in your winter décor! It doesn't get much easier...or
snugglier... than this!
You can bring the snow inside...well, sort of...with my easy
SWEATER SNOWBALLS! Just add some pine and a few oversized faux snowflakes and you have a centerpiece!

And I'm already thinking ahead to February! If you're not feeling crafty, keep an eye out for sweater ornaments at Christmas and stock up! I found a collection of heart-shaped cuties half-price at a fabric store several years ago and added them to my
FARMHOUSE VALENTINE CENTERPIECE...

...to my
RUSTIC VALENTINE WREATH...

...and to my
FARMHOUSE VALENTINE MANTEL!
If you'd rather make your own, I have found heart-shaped Styrofoam pieces on eBay. Add an old sweater and some fabric glue or a glue gun and you are good to go. And stay tuned because I am currently working on another fun way to use sweaters.
Remember to pin it!
Debbie, I would have to say ADORABLE! I really love all the projects, but favorite would have to be the mason jar sweater candles. Have pinned like crazy and will make at least one for sure.
