Summer Color...Features from The Scoop

There are so many talented people who share with us at The Scoop each week! Once again you have wowed me with your wonderfully creative links! Be sure to head over here and check them out!  And…it’s not too late to join in the fun! This week it was the vibrant summery colors that caught my attention!

mirror-title Sunset Coast showed us how she updated a thrift store grass cloth mirror into this colorful beauty!

Cabana-Striped-Rug Made in a Day gave us all the details on how she created this cute cabana striped nautical rug for her cabana-themed porch.

Chippy-Colleen-Embracing-Change-740x1024 Embracing Change gave an old dresser a charming makeover to create this chippy bird dresser that she will be taking with her to her new home!

framed flowers 1 Inspired by Carlene at Organized Clutter, The Thrifty Rebel showed us how she framed her plants!

chair-makeover cover You’ve gotta love this one! Southern Scraps created a unique planter from an old chair!

DIY Yogurt Container Planters by I Gotta Create Save your plastic yogurt containers! I Gotta Create shows you how to use them to make these cute DIY planters!

Transform-Your-Home-Decor-with-Paint-Martys-Musings Head over to Marty’s Musings where she has a video tutorial to show you how paint can transform your  home décor.

painted-wooden-jewelry-box-with-jewelsSome pretty paint transformed a boring jewelry box into a statement piece for the dresser! At the Corner of Happy & Harried shows us how she did it and reveals her paint color.

spongewaterbomb I love these sponge water bombs that Atop Serenity Hill made for her son’s Lego birthday party! My grandsons would have fun with  these!

Kids-Craft-Ideas-Planes-Wands I was inspired by this post from Sparkles and a Stove! She and her family created these cute favors for the children at her local Ronald McDonald House…a “home-away-from-home” for families so they can stay close by their hospitalized child at little or no cost. What a great way to make memories and teach your children the value of giving to others!
