Fun and Easy Christmas Candle Favorites

CONFESSIONS OF A PLATE ADDICT Christmas Candle FavoritesWoo hoo! With so little time between Christmas and Thanksgiving this year, I have already started working on my Christmas projects. I’ve been burning my Christmas-y scented candles and listening to Christmas music to get that special spirit at my house! Sooo…I thought I would share my favorite fun and easy Christmas candle projects so you can get things going at your house, too!

CONFESSIONS OF A PLATE ADDICT Christmas Centerpiece This was my breakfast room Christmas centerpiece last year and I loved it so much that I am going to make it again! The basket is from the now defunct Southern Living at Home and I often see it at thrift stores for around $10 and under. You will find a complete list of all that you will need plus a detailed tutorial here.

CONFESSIONS OF A PLATE ADDICT Mason Jar Christmas Candles Who doesn’t love Mason jars? My easy Christmas Mason jar candles add a little farmhouse flair to the season. You find directions for making them here.

IsabellaOur co-host, Miss Isabella, is reminding me to show you that Mason jar candles are not just for Christmas!

CONFESSIONS OF A PLATE ADDICT Mason Jars for Every SeasonIn fact, I have created Mason jar candles for every season…not only Christmas, but Easter, summer and fall as well! Find them here:

CONFESSIONS OF A PLATE ADDICT Wiateria Inspired Christmas CandlesI am also sharing my Wisteria-inspired Christmas music candles…love them! All you need is some Dollar Tree candle holders, paper and twine! You will find a complete tutorial, including the free graphics, here.

HolidayCandleSleeves_thumb15And…I have used the same method to create three more seasonal candle holders, all including the free graphics! You will find them here:
Are you beginning to get the idea that I like to take an idea and run with it through every season possible? lol And now…I’d better get back to work on my next project…one I have been meaning to do for several years and never manage to time it right. This year it’s going to happen when it should…so stay tuned!

  5. Debbie, I love the sheet music idea for wrapping candle holders. I will have to remember to get some ink so I can make a couple for a Christmas vignette. The candles in the clay pots are really my favorites. I think the open look of the metal with the clay pots are what makes them so lovely to me. I will have to keep a lookout for a container like yours. I do see similar ones every once and a while but I hadn't thought to buy one until now. Thank you for helping to get me motivated. Have a wonderful holiday.

  6. Thanks for the terrific candle craft. I have been fretting over the small happies we give to each other at our school's district office. I am heading to the Dollar Tree tomorrow!
