Thanksgiving Inspiration...Tablescapes, Recipes, Decor and More!

Can you believe that Thanksgiving is almost here? But it’s not too late to add some extra punch to your holiday celebration! While looking at all of the wonderful links at The Scoop this week, I found some pretty, fun and useful ideas for your Thanksgiving!

Yvonne at Stone Gable starts us off with a brilliant suggestion…a serve-yourself continental breakfast for your guests on Thanksgiving morning…freeing you up to finish up all of the last-minute preparation for the big dinner!

Home Is Where the Boat Is shows us how to make a pretty centerpiece using a pumpkin as a vase…perfect for your Thanksgiving table!

 Decor Amore shared her beautiful tablescape and her thoughts on gathering around the table as a family.

I love the way The Style Sisters used old book pages in their Thanksgiving tablescape!

Corner of Plaid and Paisley created a pretty, rustic tablescape…gotta love those plates and chargers! And…those are burlap-look cotton napkins! I need some of those!

Planning on having your celebration outdoors? Then The Refeathered Roost has just the tablescape for you…beautiful!

Suzy at Worthing Court shares her printable so that you can create these pretty Thanksgiving place cards…

…as does The Happy Scraps! I love these ideas…and both place card printables are free for you to use!

And here’s a cute idea from The Painted Apron…a burlap turkey that can double as a napkin ring or a wine bottle topper!

Now that you have set the table…on to some recipes for all of those sides and extras! Doesn't this sound yummy? Just Us Four shares her recipe for pumpkin pie dip!

And who could resist these pumpkin cream cheese crescent rolls from Posed Perfection!

Of course, you will need some rolls for your dinner…and don’t these Thanksgiving onion rolls from Peonies and Orange Blossoms look fabulous!

 Home Is Where the Boat Is shows us how to make this yummy-looking pumpkin-cranberry bread…in the slow cooker!

And it wouldn’t be Thanksgiving for me without sweet potatoes…and this recipe from A Life In Balance adds all of my favorites! Yum!

Of course, we must finish off our dinner with dessert…so how about a slice of this pumpkin cheese cake with a sweet sour cream topping from Simply Suzanne’s! Fabulous!

And here’s a great idea for what to do with that left-over turkey…turkey crescent bites from The Kitchen Is My Playground!

Of course, you don’t want to forget your home…and here are some quick and easy ideas to help make it look extra-special for the holidays! Maison de Pax shows us how to make her Thanksgiving chalkboard leaf advent calendar. Head over to her blog to see how she uses it as a fun and educational tool with her three-year-old son!

Cottage in the Oaks shares her Thanksgiving silhouette pennant and the links to the free graphics as well…embodying the spirit of the first Thanksgiving!

Aren’t these cute? i gotta create shares her tutorial for making these 3-D Thanksgiving turkey hands! I am even thinking how fun it would be to use the grandchildren’s hands as the template!

 Shabby Beach Nest also has some free printables for us…her Thanksgiving burlap and linen leaves…pretty!

And of course, you will want to send your guests home with a little something…and Simply Suzanne’s shows us how to make her hand-made paper gifts…filled with candy and finished off with an ornament and a sweet thank you tag.

And here’s a fun idea for a little take-away gift for the kiddos…and Dixie Delights even shares her free printable! This would be a cute idea for school as well! I love how the Bugles look like little cornucopias!
