And it's been a while since I've seen one of these and this is a pretty one at a reasonable price...only $10! Do you know what it is? It's a fancy pants bread box!
I love the way cow paintings are becoming all the rage along with farmhouse style! This one is unusual with its subtle colors and really speaks to me. It reminds me of the cows on a French friend's farm...complete with bells from Switzerland!
Isn't this a wonderful old chest? I love the color and the unusual shape!
I must be having a gray day because I love this cake plate, too! Do you recognize those little embellishments? They're acorns!
And here it is in an antiqued white in another booth. I'm not sure which one I like best but I do love the pops of aqua surrounding it!
And I especially love these two pieces in aqua...starring those fabulous curly handles!
I had to stop and study all the aqua accents in this booth...lovely!
Now here's something I really love and even considered collecting at one time...a finger vase!
But I already have one at home. Here it is filled with knockout roses. Hmmm...they are in full bloom now. I need to get out my finger vase again! You can see more of it plus a fabulous 100 year old frenchy find HERE.
Here's another favorite that I spotted...a Red Cliff ironstone sugar bowl.
Here's mine alongside the matching coffee pot and a candlestick. You can see more of my Red Cliff collection HERE.
But the best thing about my sugar bowl is this...I found it at Goodwill for only $2.92! Woo hoo!
Easter is over but spring is in full force so I found myself looking at bunnies...on pillows...
...on molds...
...and on plates! Gotta love bunnies no matter the season!
Did you see anything to buy with your virtual money? I bought it all with mine...but nothing with my real money! lol I know...can you believe it? However, a few farmhouse finds from another trip did make the cut and I'll be sharing them soon so stay tuned!

I love these virtual shopping trips! I too am buying less but looking is always fun. I love the finger vases! The lovely turquoise is everywhere and such a pretty accent color. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteI'd have bought that bread box in a heart beat!! Never seen such good stuff here! (Or someone else gets it first!)
ReplyDeleteI needed a shopping trip and this one was at least affordable! I would be hauling around that cow picture if I had been there. Please let me know if it's ok to use that picture, with a link to this post, in a post I'm doing on cowbells?
ReplyDeleteSo glad that you like it! Yes, I would be delighted if you used it in your post! Hugs...Debbie
DeleteDebbie, posted this morning. Thanks for the use of your picture, and for giving me the idea inspiration. R/sharon. http://theothermeissane.blogspot.com/2017/04/talkin-cowbells.html
DeleteFun shopping with you. The bunny molds take me back to our first home. I had a collection of these molds in our kitchen. One was a bunny much like these. They were special to me, but no place to use them here in this kitchen. I have them packed away because they were too sentimental for me to party with them.
ReplyDeleteGreat stuff!
ReplyDeleteDebbie, I am coveting the finger vases or tulipiers, as I've heard them called. Another blogger from the South that I read has found about five of them at thrift shops but I'd never seen or heard of them before she showed me hers. I wonder if they are a southern thing. But I sure would like one! I spent my virtual money on all three of them because I couldn't decide which one I liked best!
ReplyDeleteA fun post!
Loved the virtual shopping trip! Last Saturday, I found two plain white finger vases ($1 each!) at a yard sale and snatched them up to sell in my booth in an antique shop. But when I got home, I decided to keep them both. This may be the beginning of a collection--I love your painted ones and will be on the hunt for more. Thanks for taking us with you to the Queen of Hearts!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe you didn't buy the bread box. If I had been with you, it would be coming home with me.

It's funny, I found the same ceramic French Country bread box here in Boise, but for only $5.00 at Goodwill! Photo here- http://littlehomesteadinboise.blogspot.com/2017/07/diy-cheap-wheelbarrow-rehab-thrifting.html Nancy
