It looks like spring is in full force and thoughts of summer are even starting to creep into my brain! And with summer comes the beach and seashells! So when I was checking out the Restoration Hardware website, I was excited to find this…



Restoration Hardware Branch Coral on a Pedestal …their branch coral on a pedestal…until I saw the price. It’s beautiful, and on sale right now…reduced from $149 to $119. Yikes! Sooo…you guessed it…I took up the copy-cat challenge!

CONFESSIONS OF A PLATE ADDICT Restoration Hardware Inspired Sea Shell and Starfish Stands Before My first challenge…find some wooden candlesticks...and I came up with these on my first stop at Goodwill at $2.00 for both of them! Woo hoo! They were perfect for me since I wanted something simpler and not quite as tall as theirs.

I knew I didn’t have any coral, but I did manage to find a starfish and a nice scallop shell in my summer stash so I simply hot-glued them on and…

CONFESSIONS OF A PLATE ADDICT Restoration Hardware Inspired Sea Shell and Starfish Standstaaa daaa! Here they are…my version for a total of $1.00 each since I only had to buy the candlesticks! Not bad…and waaay better than $149! Watch for them in my summer centerpieces!
