Burlap, Drop Cloth and Chalkboards...Oh, My!

CONFESSIONS OF A PLATE ADDICT Fun with Burlap, Drop Cloth and ChalkboardsWhen it comes to decorating DIYs, I always find myself drawn to these three…burlap, drop cloth and chalkboards! Do you? I think it’s because they make such a fun statement without costing a whole lot of money…two big advantages in my book! So I was excited to find some wonderful examples of creative ways to use them at The Scoop this week…and some of them can be used over the holidays!

46415f726b1a43a02b937661a3936801I have been seeing more and more variations of printed burlap and, of course, I love this one with a frenchy print! Confessions of a Serial DIYer shows us how to to use it to make this pretty burlap framed mirror.

441caa1d7c89acd971d5b03ecad20298Why have I never thought of this one? Setting for Four uses inexpensive thrift store tiles and turns them into chalkboard hot pads embellished with seasonal art from a printable! Love it! And these would make wonderful gifts, too!
