I do not have a green thumb but love in door plants. I thought succulents would be my answer but they do take trial and error. I live where one would think all succulents would thrive- a desert, .... But no. Not all do well. So just losing three is pretty good in my eyes!! I have one I cut off and shove in a pot to make a tree for a mini garden but in the little pot from my grandson, everything dies. Good thing I can continually cut new!! I do think I will use a spray bottle to mist his. For my ones that do grow overtake a spot and tumble down a 16" tall pot. I just love the galvanized bucket idea. Something in the middle and succulents around!!! I'm amazed it took 20 that's where I get in trouble!!! I don't realize how many more a large circle takes. But thank you for the idea, the tips, and yes I do use the cactus soil or if I'm out I add beach sand to the regular soil. I never go into our tractor supply store now that I don't drive. It's just three stop lights away!! I'll ask for a ride!! Have a nice day!
