Transferware and Wreaths...A Farmhouse Christmas on the Hutch

CONFESSIONS OF A PLATE ADDICT Farmhouse Christmas on the HutchI am excited to share a little bit more of my Christmas decorations…my farmhouse Christmas hutch! I am keeping it simple this year…

CONFESSIONS OF A PLATE ADDICT Farmhouse Christmas on the Hutch …with my pink transferware, accents of white ironstone and creamware and pops of greenery.

KittyOur co-host Miss Kitty looks a little confused since this is the first time I have ever used my pink transferware on the hutch! Can you believe it? I don’t know why I have waited so long…

CONFESSIONS OF A PLATE ADDICT Farmhouse Christmas on the Hutch …because it looks so very Christmas-y! I added a simple boxwood wreath…a steal from the Ballard Designs Outlet…to one of my Wedgwood plates and some frosty fruit to my Wedgwood Queens Shape cups…love the result!

CONFESSIONS OF A PLATE ADDICT Farmhouse Christmas on the Hutch I popped a festive little tree into one of my vintage Wedgwood Patrician cups…all Goodwill finds from several years ago.

CONFESSIONS OF A PLATE ADDICT Farmhouse Christmas on the Hutch A few little topiaries and an assortment of pink transferware star on the top shelf…

CONFESSIONS OF A PLATE ADDICT Farmhouse Christmas on the HutchOn the middle shelf, a pinecone is nestled in my Wedgwood creamer with  more pink transferware from the Spode Archive Collection.

CONFESSIONS OF A PLATE ADDICT Farmhouse Christmas on the HutchAnd finally….always one of my favorites…my mom’s vintage Red Cliff ironstone tureen is dressed up for Christmas with more greenery, pinecones and berries. And...I will be showing you the rest of my dining room soon, so be sure to come back because…

  6. That looks fantastic. I have several of those same patterns. I don't have a hutch though to display them. :( I like your Pink Blue Willow. I don't have it in pink, but I have an entire set (Churchill) that I inherited from my great aunt.
You always do such lovely stuff. You make me want to get busy and do things like this too, and then I remember I have a toddler. I finally broke him of the habit of taking the bulbs off the tree and exclaiming "I got Christmas!" as he ran upstairs with them. Now he takes them out of the dough bowl on my table. I'll break him of that too. Eventually. :)
